Paint-N-Party Studio hosts pottery painting parties for kids, teens, adults, and families. Our creative celebrations are perfect for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, bachelorette parties, team-building events, retirement celebrations, and other special occasions. Located in Lincolnwood, Illinois, we welcome guests from Skokie, Niles, Evanston, Chicago, and the surrounding suburbs.

IBoth areas offer the same pottery painting packages, ceramic selections, and pricing. Our Party Area welcomes all ages and includes 2 hours of party time with a $35 reservation fee. Our Workshop Party Area is designed for ages 12 and older, features bar-height tables and stools, and includes 2.5 hours of party time with a $55 reservation fee.

Our Party Area comfortably accommodates up to 28 adult painters or 32 younger painters. If you're planning a larger celebration, please contact us before booking.

Our Workshop Party Area accommodates a maximum of 20 painters. This limit is firm and cannot be exceeded.

Non-painting guests are subject to our separate guest policy and space limitations.

Parties in our Party Area last 2 hours, while parties in our Workshop Party Area last 2.5 hours.

Party time includes both painting and eating. Guests paint first, with food, cake, and refreshments enjoyed toward the end of the celebration.

Arrival & Setup: Hosts may arrive up to 15 minutes before their scheduled party time to set up decorations, food, and other party supplies.

Departure: We strongly recommend telling your guests that the celebration ends 15 minutes before your reservation's scheduled end time. This allows time for guests to depart and for you to gather any food, decorations, and personal belongings you'd like to take home.

Yes! You are welcome to bring food, cake, snacks, and beverages for your celebration. Food and cake are enjoyed at the end of the party after guests have finished painting. We also have a refrigerator and freezer available for party use. Please bring your own food, serving supplies, and paper goods.

Yes! Each painter can choose their own ceramic piece from the collection included in the party package. This allows guests to express their individual creativity instead of everyone having to paint the same project. Our studio offers a large variety of ceramics, with thousands of pieces in our overall collection.

Yes! You are welcome to bring decorations to personalize your party. The party host may arrive approximately 15–20 minutes before the scheduled party time to set up decorations and party supplies.

Balloons must arrive pre-inflated and remain tied down. Confetti, piñatas, and outside music are not permitted. Because another party or group may be scheduled before yours, we are unable to accommodate earlier decorating or setup.

Yes. Paint-N-Party is BYOB for adult celebrations. Guests age 21 and older may bring beer or wine; hard liquor is not permitted. Adult pottery painting parties are a fun option for birthdays, girls' nights, bridal showers, and other creative gatherings.

Yes! Non-painting guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the celebration. Because space is limited, each party may have up to 8 non-painting guests, with standing room only for those who are not painting.

For children's parties, parents and caregivers are welcome to stay, although we encourage drop-off parties for children who are comfortable attending independently. Limiting non-painting guests helps us keep the party area comfortable and gives painters plenty of room to create and enjoy the celebration.

Same-day pottery uses acrylic paints and a protective decorative finish, allowing guests to take their creations home at the end of the party. These pieces are intended for decorative use only.

Glazed pottery uses ceramic glazes and is fired in our kiln, creating a durable, food-safe finish for appropriate functional pieces. Fired projects are generally ready for pickup in approximately seven days. Both options offer a fun and creative party experience.

Each painter chooses one ceramic piece from the large collection included with their party package, with hundreds of options to suit different ages, interests, and creative styles. Guests then paint and personalize their individual pieces—no artistic experience is needed!

Once everyone is finished painting, it's time for food, cake, and celebrating. A dedicated party coordinator is there to help keep your celebration running smoothly. Depending on the package selected, projects are either finished with our same-day paints and taken home at the end of the party or painted with ceramic glazes, kiln-fired, and picked up later.

Not at all! Pottery painting is a beginner-friendly activity that lets everyone create something at their own pace. Our staff is available to explain the painting process, offer tips, and help guests feel comfortable.
